Job Summary
Execute test plans and procedures to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical and electro-mechanical (mechatronic) door hardware products; build, set up, and maintain test fixtures and equipment that simulate real-world operating conditions to ensure reliable and meaningful test results; conduct tests on components, subsystems, and assemblies to verify functionality and performance in accordance with established testing protocols; record and analyze test results to identify issues, defects, and opportunities for improvement in mechanical and electro-mechanical door hardware products.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Proven experience in mechanical product testing preferably in a product development environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
