Job Summary
Carry out mechanical layup and testing for batch release analysis of resins, resin films, and prepregs to validate product conformance against customer and internal specifications. Ensure high standards of test capability with low variability while maintaining strict adherence to HSE rules and 5S housekeeping protocols. Collaborate with the Quality Laboratory Manager and stakeholders to investigate customer and internal concerns, present test result validation data, and support continual improvement initiatives within the QC Lab Team.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years minimum experience in practical Mechanical testing
- Experience in the use of LIMS, SAP, and various other PC based systems
- Experience in communicating with and managing internal stakeholders
- Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills verbally
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and control of process and testing validity
- Must be able to demonstrate effective communication (presenting data, test result validation as required by the Test Lab Team Leader)
- Must be able to demonstrate ethical behaviour acting as an ambassador for Safety & Quality requirements
- Must be results-orientated
- Customer Focus (understanding that test validation is key to meeting Customer requirements)
- Teamwork (being a part of a wider collaborative team to ensure test validity)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the use of LIMS, SAP, and various other PC based systems ideal but these can be trained if required
- Excellent data analysis skill (JMP) understanding testing capability (if no experience - this may be trained if required)
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Must have experience in communicating with and managing internal stakeholders
