Job Summary
Mechanical Test Engineer needed to support submarine systems testing, calibration, and commissioning at HMNB Clyde, Faslane. You’ll assist the Senior Test Engineer to optimise performance, apply safety/quality/environmental policies, review engineering documentation, collaborate with contractors and internal teams to manage risks, and conduct mechanical testing and commissioning activities on submarine systems. Role is full-time on-site (36 hours/week) with a 35% shift allowance. Qualifications include a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or an HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and the ability to obtain Security Check clearance.
