Job Summary
Mechanical Technologist/Engineer role focused on mechanical system design for building projects (HVAC, plumbing), preparation of drawings and construction documents, and coordination with electrical, structural, and architectural teams. Responsibilities include supporting project delivery from concept through construction, assisting with site reviews and field reports, and handling contract administration. Collaboration with senior engineers and project managers on active projects is expected. Required skills include proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, knowledge of building codes and standards, and strong communication for teamwork in a consulting engineering/building services environment.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field
- C.E.T, P.L Eng, or P. Eng designation would be an asset
- Experience in consulting engineering / building services
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
