Job Summary
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble cryogenic pumps, turbo expanders, and related rotating systems using precision instruments and engineering drawings. Perform detailed mechanical measurements, precision balancing of rotating assemblies, and complete build-up sheets with close-tolerance documentation. Coordinate with engineers and supply chain teams to execute repair scopes, manage inventory, and ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards. This role involves hands-on maintenance of mission-critical equipment supporting global energy, industrial gas, and marine applications within an industrial workshop setting.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in a mechanical workshop, repair, maintenance, or manufacturing environment
- Strong experience working with rotating equipment such as pumps, turbo machinery, compressors, or similar precision systems
- Experience with precision balancing equipment
- Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and mechanical specifications
- Advanced precision measurement skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- High attention to detail with close-tolerance assemblies
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Overtime or flexible scheduling may be required based on operational needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cryogenic systems or high-speed rotating equipment
- Background supporting aftermarket repair or overhaul operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems and work order documentation
