Job Summary
Calibration Technician to calibrate a range of test instruments across electrical, dimensional, industrial/mechanical, temperature, and RF/Optical equipment; implement calibration processes per customer specifications, QM, and CSD; conduct pre-evaluations and inspections of customer equipment; perform maintenance and minor repairs; communicate calibration status and issues to relevant teams; collaborate in a quality-driven, ISO/IEC 17025-aligned environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience calibrating instruments (electronic electronics for electronic tech; dimensional/mechanical for dim/mech)
- Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools
- Strong understanding of calibration standards, procedures, and quality management systems
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety/quality protocols
- Technical certifications or training in calibration or instrumentation preferred
- Knowledgeable in calibration procedures, computation of uncertainty
- Familiar with ISO/IEC 17025
