Job Summary
Join our team as a Mechanical Technician where you'll support various engineering groups in a dynamic Noise and Vibration / Chassis Dyno Lab environment. You'll be responsible for installing and troubleshooting test automation systems, as well as ensuring the delivery of high-quality test data to meet regulatory compliance. The role requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as you manage multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge with instrumentation installation, troubleshooting and repair
- A valid drivers license
- Excellent mechanical assembly and disassembly skills
- Experience with hand and air tools
- Data acquisition, review and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to lift vehicle components up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to operate vehicle movers, walkies or fork trucks
Desired Qualifications
- Chassis Dynamometer testing / lab experience
- Familiarity with Test automation systems
- Experience with data acquisition systems
