Job Summary
Assemble, cut, thread, and lay pipes while assisting in the repair, installation, maintenance, and purchase of various equipment and parts. Perform diagnosis, thorough troubleshooting, and repairs on motors, fans, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and other pellet mill specific equipment. Execute preventive maintenance and lubrication as scheduled, maintain reports, and document required equipment inspections to ensure proper condition. Analyze equipment performance to make necessary tooling and equipment changes for desired throughput and quality results. Identify corrective actions to improve reliability, escalate issues promptly, and perform rigging while following all job safety procedures. Operate mobile equipment as necessary and perform housekeeping to maintain required safety standards. Adhere to all plant environmental, health, and safety guidelines, policies, and practices. Work evenings, weekends, and overnight to address unexpected site issues with or without notice.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work safely obeying OSHA and Enviva standards for practices
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.

- Experience in preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance procedures
- Troubleshooting skills
- Servicing mobile/heavy equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in hydraulics
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in lubrication
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in mechanical equipment
- Basic understanding of types of lubricants
- Basic understanding of application of each lubricant
- Ability to analyze process flow to identify issues
- Ability to cut, thread, and lay pipes

- Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment

Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience working in manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience with industrial electricity
