Job Summary
Mechanical Technician responsible for implementing and monitoring mechanical systems and processes, ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance on a 24 hour shift; lead and assist with asset management, maintenance, and contractor management; collaborate with Engineers and Technicians to improve facility availability and meet project objectives. Requires apprenticeship or equivalent in Engineering/Mining/Heavy Industry, 5+ industrial experience, 3+ supervisory experience, and proficiency in MS Excel. Experience in renewable energy or waste management is valued. The role involves building cross-functional relationships, adhering to mechanical standards, and delivering timely maintenance activities and site objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Apprenticeship or equivalent in Engineering, Mining, Heavy Industry or equivalent
- 5+ Industrial experience
- 3+ Supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
- Previous experience within the renewable energy or waste management sectors
