Job Summary
Conduct troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of mechanical equipment while performing lubrication and preventative maintenance on all assets. Assist the electronic technician with electrical duties and execute welding, machining, and millwright tasks. Install new mechanical equipment, enter work orders into the Maintenance Management System, and manage spare parts inventory. Maintain equipment in good running order through daily, weekly, and monthly PM assignments while ensuring job sites remain clean and hazard-free. Operate all maintenance equipment safely, follow LOTO practices, and interact with the production supervisor as needed. Maintain a forklift license and possess working knowledge of plant utility systems.
Required Qualifications
- Technical school or Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or 4 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Strong background in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Machining experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe shoes
- Good communication skill
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability and willingness to work overtime on an as needed basis
- Willingness to be on-call and work some nights and weekends that are required
- Consistent, dependable attendance
- Willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Ability to effectively manage job-related stress

- Basic maintenance skills including machining, welding, pipefitting and fabrication
- Maintain a forklift license
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Follow all safety procedures including LOTO, confined space, proper lifting, etc.
- Ability to weld, use cutting torch, machine, pipefit, and use all shop tools
- Able to use all shop power tools
- Ability to troubleshoot process and utility equipment
- Repairs and replaces bearings, sprockets, chains, pulleys, belts, etc.
- Properly applies lubrication type and usage
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
- Ability to work in loud noise
