Mechanical Team Member - Macon, GA

The Mechanical Team Member is responsible for performing locomotive and FRA inspections, service repairs, mechanical, air, and electrical repairs, and preventative maintenance on assigned locomotives and equipment. Additionally, the role includes freight car repair, maintenance of assigned vehicles, general repairs of other equipment as needed, troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe and clean work area. Candidates should possess mechanical experience, and knowledge of power and hydraulic tools, along with welding skills being a plus. The position involves physical activity including frequent lifting of up to 30lbs and the ability to push/pull with up to 100lbs of force.
