Mechanical Systems Module IPT Leader

Job Summary
Lead the mechanical systems module for GEK1500 and GE426 engines, owning bearing, pressure (oil, fuel, air), and ventilation design; act as the technical authority for mechanical systems hardware, including architecture, interfaces, and integration; manage the technical baseline (CAD, drawings, specifications) and change across the product life cycle; drive design trades, margin management, and verification plans; lead IPT meetings and coordinate across design, analysis, manufacturing, and test; direct FEA/CFD activities and ensure DFMA; mentor mechanical design engineers and analysts while collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet safety, regulatory, and program objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in aerospace propulsion, turbomachinery, or rotating machinery systems
- U.S. Citizenship or eligibility for security clearance
