Job Summary
Develop block diagrams of all mechanical systems; arrange equipment from mechanical and electrical systems; design foundations for equipment; design routing for cable trees, pipes, and ducts; create the Bill of Materials for mechanical systems in close cooperation with Supply Chain; devise design solutions to support different configurations within product platforms; contribute to a production-ready design and integrate with cross-functional hardware/software teams; apply CATIA and PLM tooling to mechanical design in a marine/unmanned-vehicle context; work toward advancing next-generation maritime drone technology and support USV/UUV platforms; communicate in English and collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust mechanical systems for Quantum Systems.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in mechanical engineering or naval architecture
- At least 5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering in serial ship design
- Proficiency in CATIA and PLM systems
- Excellent English communication
- Self-motivated and able to drive responsibility independently
- Good interpersonal and collaborative skills
