Mechanical Supervisor

Direct and supervise mechanical crews, contractors, and technicians on-site for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems. Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to ensure proper installation and compliance with design intent. Conduct comprehensive on-site inspections including systems testing, commissioning, and performance verification. Ensure all work meets local building codes, mechanical codes, fire codes, and environmental regulations. Interface with local authorities and building departments for permit approvals and regulatory inspections. Prepare detailed progress reports, inspection reports, and status updates for project management and clients. Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and ensure OSHA compliance. Identify and resolve mechanical system issues, design conflicts, and installation challenges in real-time. Coordinate and oversee mechanical subcontractors to ensure work quality and schedule adherence. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, warranties, and as-built conditions. Participate in system startup, testing, and commissioning activities. Communicate with building owners, facility managers, and end users regarding mechanical systems operation.
