Mechanical Superintendent

Job Summary
Oversee multiple industrial mechanical construction projects across a large geographic area, supervising field construction teams and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time turnover. Responsibilities include enforcing safety programs, reviewing drawings and submittals, maintaining CPM schedules, coordinating material orders, conducting regular subcontractor meetings, managing punch lists and turnover to the Owner, and generating project documentation and reports. Requires extensive travel, strong knowledge of mechanical crafts, OSHA compliance, and proven experience as a foreman or project engineer. The role supports ownership and client confidence through quality control, scheduling, cost control, and team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 10-15+ years' experience in Industrial Mechanical (process piping and structural)
- Extensive Industrial Mechanical field construction experience at supervisory level
- Ability to travel extensively
- Working knowledge of mechanical crafts (ability to read and understand specifications for all trades)
- prior experience as foreman or journeyman in at least one trade, or project engineer
- Knowledge of OSHA laws
- Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control
- Ability in problem-solving
- Strong sense of urgency
