Job Summary
The Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for managing the mechanical scope of solar energy projects, ensuring construction follows the owner's contract. Primary duties include interpreting specifications and plans, inspecting mechanical work, directing personnel for project completion, and ensuring safety and design specifications are satisfied. Candidates must have a high school diploma and knowledge of OSHA guidelines, along with proven communication skills and experience in a leadership role. Adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and customer service skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safe work practices
- Proven ability promoting outstanding customer service and client relations
- Basic computer and software skills to include the use of email and spreadsheets
- Effective communicator
- Knowledge of construction methods and industry applicable safety requirements
- Creative problem solver
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the solar industry
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
