Mechanical Superintendent (Relocation to Charlotte, NC)

Job Summary
Responsible for managing, evaluating, and training field project team members while planning, organizing, and directing production of contracted scopes of work. The role requires building and maintaining relationships with customers and other trades while ensuring all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards. Applicants should have experience with complex duct systems, hydronic piping systems, and extensive knowledge of local mechanical and plumbing codes. Strong leadership skills and proficiency in using construction technology are essential.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Experience with Hydronic piping systems, Chiller, Boiler, Water Source Heat Pump refrigeration systems
- Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects
- Active journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred
- Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements
- Knowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and/or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with complex Duct Systems
- Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred
- Flexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferred
