Mechanical Superintendent

Job Summary
Lead and direct a project team as a Mechanical Superintendent to ensure timely completion and compliance with quality, safety, and customer service standards. Manage, evaluate, and train field project members; plan and organize production for contracted work while adhering to mechanical code standards. Build and maintain relationships with clients and contractors and coordinate production activities. This role requires significant experience in HVAC or plumbing, along with knowledge of local codes, safety requirements, and construction technology.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with refrigeration HVAC systems, VRF/VRV systems
- Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects
- Active journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred
- Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred
- Knowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and/or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus
- Flexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferred
