Job Summary
Manage field activities for complex data center projects, ensuring subcontractor performance in quality and timeliness while coordinating with the Project Manager. Conduct pre-construction and regular coordination meetings, prepare administrative documents including daily reports and schedules, and resolve on-site issues. Enforce quality control, safety, and emergency procedures, mentor other Superintendents, and assist with budget implementation. Requires 5+ years in commercial construction, particularly data centers, with strong knowledge of MEP systems and experience with Procore and Bluebeam. Some periodic travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field position or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction with a general contractor, particularly in data centers or mission-critical projects
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems
- Previous experience leading a job-site team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Commercial Construction Means and Methods
- Application of LEED certifications
- Thorough understanding of industry practices
- Customer-centric mindset
- High level of integrity, fairness, care, and concern
- Some periodic travel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with construction software. Procore and Bluebeam preferred
