Job Summary

Lead and supervise mechanical subcontractors during installation of equipment, pumps, tanks, and process infrastructure, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specifications, and codes like ASME, CSA, and API. Monitor progress to meet schedule milestones while overseeing mine process systems including pump stations, slurry and water systems, flotation circuits, thickeners, and grinding mills. Conduct inspections and testing for alignment, torqueing, and installation verification, ensuring QA/QC documentation and turnover packages are completed. Enforce site safety policies, participate in audits and toolbox talks, and mitigate hazards related to lifting, rigging, pressure systems, and stored energy. Interface with superintendents, construction managers, and engineering teams to resolve field issues and support planning, material tracking, and commissioning activities.
