Job Summary
Lead and supervise mechanical subcontractors during installation of equipment, pumps, tanks, and process infrastructure while ensuring work adheres to drawings, specifications, and codes including ASME, CSA, and API. Conduct inspections and testing for alignment, torqueing, and installation verification, then verify quality and submit QA/QC documentation and turnover packages. Enforce site safety policies, participate in audits and toolbox talks, and mitigate hazards related to lifting, rigging, pressure systems, and stored energy. Interface with superintendents, construction managers, and engineering teams to resolve field issues, support planning and commissioning, and communicate progress updates. This FIFO role supports mining and industrial projects at JDS Energy & Mining, emphasizing leadership, teamwork, and accountability.
