Mechanical Superintendent

Job Summary
Lead a team on a Louisiana LNG project site, supervising superintendents and craft professionals; direct craft activities, schedule work, coordinate subcontract work, and develop the team to meet design, safety, schedule, and budget requirements. Ensure use of the most current design documents with approved changes, verify subcontractor and operator performance aligns with specifications, and coordinate with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals on engineering solutions. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-12 years of supervisory construction experience in heavy industrial environments, with specific experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing, or power generation projects. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is the physical ability to perform site inspections in challenging conditions, and adherence to PPE requirements. Relocation is authorized nationwide for single enrollment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in a supervisory position on a construction site
- Heavy industrial direct hire construction experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing, or power generating station construction
- Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
- Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
