Job Summary
Maintain technical integrity and reliability of mechanical and structural systems across offshore wind farm assets by evaluating equipment condition and managing lifecycle programs. Lead investigations into failures, defects, and degradation mechanisms while supporting major repair, replacement, and life extension campaigns. Develop maintenance and inspection strategies, review engineering modifications, and optimize spare parts planning to maximize operational performance and safety. Apply root cause analysis and structural assessments to implement continuous improvement initiatives throughout the asset lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 3 years' experience in offshore wind/offshore structures/marine assets/rotating machinery, or heavy industrial facilities
- Knowledge of mechanical reliability, structural integrity, and maintenance engineering principles
- Familiarity with mechanical equipment such as welded structures, bolted connections, corrosion protection systems, gearboxes, bearings and hydraulic systems
- Experience performing root cause analysis, failure investigations, and structural assessments
- Understanding of asset lifecycle management, inspection programs, and integrity management processes
- Knowledge of offshore structural degradation mechanisms, including fatigue, corrosion, erosion, and environmental loading
- Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, and risk-based decision-making skills
- Fluency in English language
