Mechanical Steampath Engineer

Job Summary
Design and analyze steampath components for steam turbine service, replacement, and retrofit projects using established design standards. Contribute to root cause analyses of component failures and support the adaptation of legacy designs for modern manufacturing processes. Collaborate with senior engineers to develop best working practices, document technical designs, and standardize global engineering methods. Communicate with suppliers and customers as needed, undertaking occasional international travel to engineering sites. Requires a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with coursework in steam turbine technology, turbomachinery, or thermodynamics. Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD tools, particularly Siemens NX, is an advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a closely related field)
Desired Qualifications
- Coursework or exposure to steam turbine technology, turbomachinery or thermodynamics is a plus
- Academic or project-based experience applying analytical methods to mechanical design or mechanical integrity topics
- Technical knowledge in the domain, covering steam turbine technology
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD tools
- familiarity with Siemens NX is an advantage
- Strong oral and written communication skills
