Job Summary
Mechanical Specialist responsible for performing industrial mechanical and basic electrical maintenance on production equipment and facility systems, including HVAC units with gas recovery, plumbing, lawn irrigation, natural gas burners, compressed air, and cooling water systems; duties include preventive and predictive maintenance, basic electrical troubleshooting, operating equipment with basic electrical adjustments, timely documentation, and strict adherence to safety protocols (LOTO) in a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Associate degree preferred
- 7–10 years of industrial maintenance experience
- HVAC and plumbing experience required, including unit repair/replacement
- EPA Gas Recovery Certification
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Certification
- Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Bucket Lift certifications preferred
