Job Summary
Site Mechanical Superintendent responsible for overseeing data center mechanical installations across multiple trade groups in Hyperscale and Colocation environments. Focuses on high-speed, high-density data center projects, optimizing resource allocation and manpower, and providing full support to the Project Director, Project Managers, and General Superintendent to ensure construction complies with technical drawings, BIM/VDC specifications, and aggressive speed-to-market schedules. Responsibilities include safety leadership and OSHA compliance, mission-critical oversight of field progress, BIM/VDC coordination using Navisworks and Bluebeam, leading Level 1-5 commissioning of cooling systems, precision resource coordination, QA/QMS compliance, and robust leadership of multiple trade groups. Required qualifications include OSHA 30 certification, expertise in Plumbing/Sheet Metal/HVAC and General Construction in hyperscale/colocation environments, Navisworks and Procore experience, commissioning process knowledge, and strong leadership. Employment requires passing drug screen and physical, driver’s license check, and U.S. work authorization with no visa sponsorship. Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health certification is strictly required
- Must pass a drug screen and physical testing
- Must pass a driver’s license check and maintain a clean driving record
- Candidates must have current work authorization in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Deep knowledge of Plumbing, Sheet Metal/HVAC, and General Construction within Hyperscale or Colocation environments
- Practical experience with Navisworks for clash detection and Procore or similar for field documentation
- Experience navigating the Level 1-5 Commissioning process for mission-critical cooling systems
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple trade groups in high-pressure environments
- Ability to lead field progress across data hall build-outs and coordinate with Project Director/PM/General Superintendent/Field Foremen
- Experience with BIM/VDC coordination and ensuring field installations align with models
