Mechanical Seal Specialist

Job Summary
Generate seal proposals, presentations, and sales contracts while supporting the outside seals team with mechanical seals. Assist customers in improving equipment reliability and increasing MTBR of sealed equipment. Communicate expected delivery dates and expedite orders, identify opportunities to expand product base within every customer account, and review customer operations for improving business process opportunities. Liaise between the company, vendors, and customers for up-to-date information on pricing, service, and other issues. Maintain a safe and clean work environment complying with company and industry safety regulations. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical seals, pumps, and support systems
- Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, data entry, and inspection reporting
- Knowledge of the issues affecting distribution, manufacturing, and supply chain management
Desired Qualifications
- Technical sales experience preferred, but not required
