Job Summary
Applications Engineer specializing in mechanical seals for the Houston division. Responsibilities include building relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams; conducting seal “as-found” reports and root cause analysis; troubleshooting systems and providing recommendations; developing installation specifications; coordinating service and repair needs for AGI and competitor products; partnering with sales and applications teams to develop systems for new applications and expansions; providing technical solutions and support for customer proposals; traveling with the sales team to promote mechanical seals and meet revenue targets; working with key vendors to develop quotes and technical recommendations; maintaining vendor portals and seal report documentation; assisting with maintaining inventory per vendor distribution programs; staying current on mechanical seal technology and product training; conducting in-person meetings and technical presentations with customers (maintenance, engineering, and operations personnel).
Required Qualifications
