Mechanical Repair Technician II - 1st Shift (Onsite)

Job Summary
Inspect and disposition components, rework or replace modules, and assemble electronic accessory parts while verifying electrical continuity and dielectric testing. Troubleshoot manufactured devices, check clearances and tolerances, and record data against approved maintenance criteria using the SAP system. Interface with government personnel or auditors as necessary and maintain a neat work area adhering to FAA and company regulations. Participate in continuous improvement, EH&S, and quality initiatives while independently resolving job assignments and problems. Operate during the 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Person (lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, U.S. national, refugee, or asylee status)
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience with CMM, technical sheets, work instructions, and/or blueprints
- Ability to read, speak and understand the English language (FAR 65.71(a)(2))
- A&P license or attending School
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of work experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience in a MRO environment
