Job Summary
Oversee daily repair operations for Lenze products, providing hands-on support for diagnostics, rework, and urgent customer repairs while leading a newly formed mechanical/electronic repair team. Supervise technicians, balance workload to meet safety, quality, and turnaround targets, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with safety and quality standards. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Service to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. Key duties include troubleshooting, interpreting schematics/technical drawings, maintaining test equipment readiness (oscilloscopes, multimeters, dynamometers), coordinating with operations on spares/tools, and fostering a safe, collaborative environment. Onsite in Uxbridge, MA, Monday–Friday. Requirements include 3+ years repair/troubleshooting experience, an associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience, 1+ year in a supervisory role, strong communication and coaching skills, Lean knowledge, SAP proficiency preferred, and MS Office proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of repair and troubleshooting experience
- Mechanical associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience
- Minimum of 1 year in similar supervisor role with direct reports
- Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills
- Foundational Lean knowledge (5S, waste reduction, standard work)
- Ability to interpret production documentation, drawings, BOMs, schematics and work instructions
- Proficiency with MS Office
