Mechanical Refrigerant Pipefitter (MSG)

Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope of work, including location, quantities, and sizes of materials; lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products; set up face blocks, jigs, and fixtures; locate and mark centerlines and reference points onto floor or face block and transpose them to the work piece using tape, chains, plumb bob, and squares; must have experience with threaded pipe and/or compressed air systems; position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps of bolt parts in positions for welding or riveting. Additional responsibilities not listed may be required.
