Job Summary
Inspect and assess the installation of mechanical equipment in accordance with relevant codes and standards, conducting visual inspections to detect defects and damage. Review and interpret piping isometrics and PIDs to ensure proper alignment, while compiling and maintaining the Flange Break Register. Prepare inspection reports documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions, and conduct final acceptance inspections for completed systems. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to address issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures. Submit accurate documentation including inspection records and non-conformance reports. Based at the PUMA project offices in Hull, this role supports Mitsubishi Chemicals UK's new production plant construction.
