Mechanical QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary
Manage key project stakeholders including client design teams, main contractors, and suppliers to support engineering requirements. Familiarize with design specifications and drawings to transform information into full installation drawings via BIM personnel, ensuring spec compliance. Coordinate engineering activities to support the construction build schedule, including procurement and material take-offs. Create and issue technical submittals, track approvals, and engage vendors for technical support and value engineering solutions. Manage equipment procurement, verify site installations against project QA plans, and complete site audits. Prepare subcontract and supplier tender packages, manage work packs from development to handover, and generate isometrics. Liaise with clients to present reports to directors, schedule meetings, and coordinate with project management teams to ensure designs meet legal and regulatory requirements. Provide technical support to the construction team during the building phase.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years' experience working with a recognized Mechanical/ contractor in process mechanical / pipework
- Excellent organizational and project planning skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in use of Navisworks and Database systems related to Engineering functions
- Experience with Project/Primavera planning software and CAD/BIM process
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise
- This Role is based in Germany - Rotation Plan available
