Job Summary
Field-based HVAC project sales role across Wasatch Front and Utah markets focused on selling turnkey HVAC solutions (design-build, retrofits, energy-efficient upgrades) to building owners, facility managers, and contractors. Build and manage a qualified project pipeline, conduct site assessments, develop detailed proposals with scope, pricing, timelines, and ROI, and coordinate with engineering, estimating, and project management teams to ensure successful design and execution. Requires self-generation of opportunities, long sales cycles, CRM/tracking, and travel within Utah. Requires 3+ years of HVAC project sales or mechanical sales experience; strong knowledge of HVAC systems and retrofit strategies; degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, business, or related field (preferred).
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC project sales or mechanical sales experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and retrofit/replacement strategies
- Proven ability to develop and close project-based opportunities (not just service sales)
- Experience working with contractors, facility managers, and building owners
- Ability to manage multiple projects and longer sales cycles simultaneously
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within Utah
