Job Summary
Manage mechanical projects from pre-construction to closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control. Collaborate with engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met. Oversee procurement, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and cost control measures while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams regarding progress and solutions. Implement best practices for project management tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, and Excel-based tracking systems. This role offers the opportunity to mentor field teams and coordinate office operations across commercial, multi-family, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in mechanical contracting project management
- Proven track record managing projects ranging from $20k to $3M across multiple sectors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor field personnel and coordinate office operations
- Proficient in project management software (Bluebeam, Procore) and Excel
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
