Job Summary
Oversee the planning, coordination, and day-to-day management of the mechanical scope of work on assigned projects. Work alongside mechanical superintendents, subcontractors, and project team members to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while meeting all contract and government requirements. Manage projects valued at $5 million or more in commercial or government construction, with a focus on Department of Defense facilities. Requires five or more years of relevant experience, proficiency with Primavera P6 and BIM software, and the ability to travel to project sites as required. Relocation assistance is available for qualified out-of-area candidates.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
- All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire
- All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening
- All candidates must successfully pass a commercial criminal background check
- All candidates must successfully pass a stricter Department of Defense background check
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- Additional coursework or training in construction management, project management, mechanical trades, BIM, CADD, or related disciplines
- Mechanical field or trade experience
- Experience with military, government, large commercial, or Design-Build construction projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Primavera P6
- Experience using BIM software
