Mechanical Project Manager

Lead and manage commercial mechanical projects (HVAC, plumbing, and process piping) from initiation through closeout across multiple sites in Lenexa and the Kansas City area. RESPONSIBILITIES include overseeing field staff and subcontractors, maintaining project budgets and schedules, coordinating resources and construction activities, tracking financials and change orders, and building strong relationships with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: minimum 5 years of mechanical construction project management, bachelor’s degree in construction/mechanical engineering or equivalent combination, valid driver’s license and driving record, ability to pass background check and drug screening, solid understanding of contracts, budgeting, and safety; preferred certifications (PMP/CCM), BIM proficiency, experience with design-build and value engineering, and knowledge of mechanical codes and OSHA standards. Willingness to travel 15–20% regionally to jobsites and offices. Experience with project management software and BIM, and ability to navigate active construction sites and communicate effectively in multiple formats.
