Job Summary
Lead the planning, execution, and completion of industrial projects by developing full-scale project plans, managing budgets, and coordinating staff. Ensure safe operation by enforcing company and customer safety policies, estimate work values, and monitor progress to report problems and solutions to stakeholders. Implement project changes, conduct performance appraisals, and mentor existing staff to improve output. Close projects with managed customer reviews validating quality and scope adherence. Cultivate positive customer relationships to increase business in the designated area. Requires a Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of project management experience, ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to travel overnight up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years' work experience in a project management capacity
- Proven experience in people management
- Commitment to industrial safety
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Computer experience, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, and Outlook
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 5-10% of the time
- Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing to occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Must have manual dexterity for repetitive tasks and operating standard office equipment
- Must be subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, and random drug testing
- Must be prohibited from using or possessing illegal drugs or alcohol on duty
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in project management
