Job Summary
Lead the design and delivery of HVAC and plumbing systems for a range of building types from early design through construction. Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and consultants; guide production of construction documents and QA/QC; support construction with RFIs, submittals, and site visits; mentor junior engineers and drafters. Requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a California PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), experience designing building HVAC/plumbing systems, and proficiency with AutoCAD (Revit preferred). Flexible, hybrid work schedule after trial period.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, or ability to obtain within 6 months via reciprocity
- Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit experience strongly preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
