Job Summary
Evaluate customer requirements, define solution architecture, and select appropriate components for UL Panel Program projects while applying engineering standards and design for excellence concepts. Perform engineering assignments in a cost-effective manner, utilizing checklists for design verification and supporting manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning activities. Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for engineering projects. This onsite role in Bartlesville, OK, contributes to the Engineered-to-Order Automation program, requiring a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
- Onsite in Bartlesville, OK
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and design of automation control panels
- Proficient use of Solidworks Mechanical 3D modeling, AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical, Electrical schematics, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of ePlan for control panel design and manufacturing support
- Knowledge of PLM systems and document control methods
- Windchill experience
- Knowledge of UL 508A
- Attention to detail and quality focused
- Knowledge of latest automation panel hardware and its application

- Demonstrated track record in UL Automation Panel design and the elements of UL panel design
- Innovative and creative mind
- Knowledge of ePlan for control panel design and manufacturing support
- Knowledge of PLM systems and document control methods and windchill experience
- Knowledge of UL 508A is preferred
