Mechanical Product Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct mechanical engineering design and sustaining activities, occasionally leading moderate-scope projects. Provide input on manufacturability, fulfillment, and design margins while resolving product-related design issues. Support value engineering, cost avoidance, and cost reduction initiatives through lab experiments, result analysis, and technical documentation maintenance. Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive root cause analysis of quality issues and participate in sustainability-focused initiatives. Collaborate across business units and product families to ensure design consistency and scalability, communicating technical concepts to improve product and process efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of hardware product design experience
- Knowledge of product design cycles
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of development workflows
- Proficiency with DFx methodologies
- Proficiency with CAD tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to recommend process improvements
- Effective communication skills
- Proven project management capabilities
- Ability to exercise sound judgment within established procedures
- Ability to resolve moderately complex challenges
Desired Qualifications
- Fluent in English and local language
