Job Summary
Monitor manufacturing processes, conduct engineering tests, and perform failure analysis to ensure procedures are followed. Take measurements for process control, gather data for engineering, and rewrite documentation to update new practices. Respond to data on process control charts, maintain material movement spreadsheets, and run tests through the production line. Assist process engineers in evaluating data and perform all process control activities within manufacturing and support efforts. Follow safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste, including use, mixing, and disposal.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Associate's Degree (or in final stages of completion) in Engineering, Chemistry, or Manufacturing
- Strong math skills, especially statistics
- Familiar with PC applications
- Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC
- being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
- recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
- understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL)
- understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
- manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services
