Job Summary
Plan and conduct mechanical work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques for the Poland Nuclear project. Perform formal calculations including line, pump, valve, and equipment sizing, as well as design pressure, temperature, and heat load analyses. Develop engineering specifications, material requisitions, and data sheets while reviewing vendor submittals to integrate information into the design solution. Support the development of project cost and schedule estimates and resolve technical issues through interfaces with other disciplines, vendors, and the client. Prepare conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Execute schedule requirements while maintaining high quality in work products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical (or related) Engineering
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
- Must be authorized to live and work in Poland without sponsorship
- Experience in P&ID development
- Experience in fluid system design
- Experience in hydraulic calculations
- Experience in heat transfer calculations
- Experience in thermodynamic calculations
- Experience in equipment specification and design development for process facilities
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards
- Knowledge and application of ANSI/ASME Codes and Standards including ASME B31.1 or B31.3 and/or international equivalents
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering work processes, procedures, and specifications
- Excellent oral and written communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Polish language documents
- Ability to utilize office automation tools effectively
