Mechanical Piping Superintendent

Job Summary
Mechanical Piping Superintendent overseeing on-site piping construction in Ringaskiddy, County Cork. Develop piping and equipment construction work packs, sign off piping test packs and manage pre-test/post-test activities. Record field welds for weld histories, coordinate onsite between Mechanical and other disciplines, ensure correct installation of equipment within their area, and provide Navisworks-backed technical support to the piping supervisor. Responsible for weekly progress and variation reporting, monitoring scope conformance to the MSL contract, ensuring materials, fabricated pipe spools and supports are on site to follow the project schedule, and ensuring handover to client with QA in line with schedule. Requires 3-5 years’ experience in construction engineering or trade supervision and expert knowledge of piping isometrics and P&IDs.
Required Qualifications
- Min 3-5 years’ experience in construction engineering or trade supervisor role
- Excellent knowledge of piping isometrics and P&IDs is essential
- Experience using Navisworks 3D model for technical backup and coordination
