Mechanical & Piping QA/QC Inspector

Job Summary
Coordinate all Mechanical & Piping QA/QC activities to ensure works comply with HSE policy and company standards. Review Inspection Test Plans, witness inspections for pipe fabrication, welding, and pressure testing, and verify NDT procedures. Issue Non-Conformance Reports, track corrective actions, prepare punch lists for mechanical completion, and update as-built drawings. Maintain detailed quality records, inspection logs, and test reports while supporting handover dossiers for commissioning. Reports to the Construction Manager at the Miran field in Bazian/Miran. Requires 10+ years of experience in Iraq/MENA and NDT Level II/III certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science from an accredited University in Mechanical or Metallurgy & Materials Engineering
- NDT Level II/III – For advanced inspection techniques required
- CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI – For welding inspection required
- Minimum of 10 years in a role as a Mechanical QA/QC Engineer in Iraq and MENA region
- Prior experience in Fast Track Gas Processing plant projects in Kurdistan and MENA region
- Demonstrable experience in with Inspections, Punch-listing & pre-commissioning activities to achieve Mechanical Completion
- Ability to fully comply with the Companies HSE Policies and standards to minimize Construction related LTI and incidents
- Ability to travel to site is mandatory
