Job Summary

Lead field crews on multiple commercial and industrial projects while planning daily activities and coordinating manpower, materials, and equipment. Install and oversee mechanical piping systems including hydronic, chilled water, heating water, domestic water, sanitary, storm, natural gas, steam, condensate, and specialty piping. Read blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings; coordinate with project managers, superintendents, customers, and other trades. Monitor project progress, labor productivity, and job costs to maintain exceptional workmanship and quality standards. Conduct safety meetings ensuring OSHA compliance and train apprentices and field personnel. Complete daily reports and maintain organized jobsites while building positive customer relationships. Work primarily on active sites indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, performing tasks such as standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working at heights.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial or industrial mechanical piping experience
  • Experience leading field crews
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects
  • Professional communication skills with customers and coworkers
  • Organized, dependable, and safety-focused mindset
  • Ability to adapt quickly as priorities change
  • Pride in producing quality work
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, crawl spaces, and other construction environments
  • Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to pass a drug test
