Job Summary
Review project specs, RFPs, and designs to identify estimating requirements for Industrial and Commercial HVAC and piping projects. Utilize estimating software to prepare take-offs, create detailed documents and spreadsheets for proposal packets, and distribute them to necessary personnel. Collaborate with team members to gather project details, evaluate bids, and develop accurate estimates while maintaining relationships with subcontractors, engineers, and vendors. This role supports the overall success of each project within a full-time, direct-hire position at an established WNY HVAC contracting company.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in Mechanical Construction Estimating
- Degree from college, trade school, or equivalent technical training
- Knowledge of estimating software (AutoBID)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong mathematical skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- 100% in-office/on-site
- Mon-Fri 7:00AM – 4:00PM
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
