Job Summary
Detail Mechanical Piping systems for construction projects by developing and coordinating piping layouts with AutoCAD, Fabrication CADmep, and Revit; perform clash detection and system coordination using Navisworks Manage to ensure accuracy across disciplines; interpret drawings and design intent to produce fabrication-ready spool constructability; collaborate with lead details, project managers, engineers, and field personnel to ensure constructability and successful field installation; support BIM coordination meetings and contribute to design/field issue resolutions; maintain drawing accuracy, version control, and compliance with company detailing standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Fabrication CADmep, Revit, and Navisworks Manage is required; strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical piping systems; Bluebeam and MS Office experience; on-site/offices collaboration and coordination integral to role.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical piping systems
- Proficiency in Navisworks Manage, Fabrication CADmep, AutoCAD, and Revit (required)
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to interpret construction documents, equipment submittals, and engineering drawings
- Previous construction field or fabrication shop experience highly preferred
