Job Summary
Mechanical Pipefitter responsible for reading blueprints and comprehending specifications, laying out and installing large and small diameter mechanical piping and equipment (including Clarifier, Filters, Chemical Rooms, Aeration Basin System, Influent Fine Screens, Pumps); monitor site safety and assist the Project Superintendent with labor oversight; understand equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring; knowledge of crane rigging and signaling; work with various piping materials (PVC, Steel, SST, DIP); operate forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift; perform additional duties as assigned in a professional construction-site environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least five (5) years of experience installing piping and equipment on multi-functional water/wastewater projects
