Mechanical Pipe Fitter

Lays out, assembles, installs threaded pipe systems and pipe supports on compressor packages by selecting pipe types and sizes, cutting and threading materials, and connecting pipes with threaded joints. Secures pipes to structure using brackets, clamps, and hangers, welds supports to structural steel, and performs air tests to observe pressure gauges for leaks. Tracks heat numbers from various fittings for individual runs. Will cross-train in other assembly team functions such as set-up, welding, and assembly.
